Born in Coimbra, Fred lived in Silicon Valley for a while before returning to Portugal and starting a design and development consultancy with an odd name, Webreakstuff. 

 

His career officially began consulting for companies abroad and took a bump after his Google SOC and Techcrunch involvements in 2005 and 2006. These days, Fred is founder and lead experience designer at Webreakstuff, having worked with both startups and large corporations. Fred sits on the advisory board for several startups and conferences like O'Reilly's Web 2.0 Expo. 

 

While most of his time is spent designing experiences and products, Fred is a night-time DJ and electronic music producer under a secret alias.
